"The uterus is the woman's centre.  If her uterus is not in proper position and good health, nothing in her life will be right.  She will be as out of balance as her uterus."

Don Elijio Panti

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage is a non-invasive, external massage technique for women and men that guides the internal abdominal organs to their proper position for optimum health and well-being.  It commonly corrects a fallen, tilted or prolapsed uterus, prevents and treats benign prostate enlargement in men and relieves common digestive disorders.

Maya Abdominal Massage helps to improve organ function by relieving blockages and congestion, thereby helping to improve the function of the circulatory system, the lymphatic system, the nervous system and the flow of Qi and fluid around the body generally, helping to prevent the progression of chronic disease.

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage were developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, an American Naprapath, who studied for ten years with Don Elijio Panti, the last Maya Shaman of Belize in Central America.  She promised to continue the Maya traditions after Don Elijio's death in 1996 at the age of 103.
